PAPER SUBMISSION

Contributions will be accepted as either Full Papers or Extended Abstracts for Industrial Experience presentations:

Full papers

We are pleased to announce that this year the SPICE 2012 Conference proceedings will be published by Springer as part of the Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) book series. Accordingly your paper must conform to the Springer CCIS format which is the same as the LNCS (Lecture Notes in Computer Science) format. Please note the following:

  • Papers must not exceed 12 pages.
  •  Full Springer LNCS author instructions are given here.
  • A sample paper format is availabe from Springer here (PDF file).
  • A MS-Word template file is availabe from Springer here (zip file).
  • Note that for a paper to be published in the proceedings the authors have to sign a copyright form and at least one of the authors has to present the paper at the conference.
  • The papers will be published in print and electronically and we therefore need all the source files for the papers.

Industrial experience presentations

Industrial experience presentations shall submit an abstract (up to 4 pages in Springer format) outlining the contents of the presentation. Each contribution shall contain the following information:

  • Title of paper (or extended abstract)
  • Name(s) of author(s)
  • Affiliation
  • Address
  • Email, telephone and fax numbers


Submission Procedure

Papers and extended abstracts shall be submitted electronically to the program chair by email to papers@spiceconference.com, as an MS-Word or PDF file. The accompanying email shall contain the title of the paper, full names, affiliations, postal and email addresses of all authors, fax and telephone numbers.

All papers submitted will be reviewed by members of the Programme Committee, and those judged best to meet the aims of the Conference will be selected for presentation. All papers accepted will be published in the conference proceedings.
